Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony on the Cooperation to Limestone Mining Sustainable Development between Asia Cement Public Company Limited and Siam Cement Group (Tha Luang) Company Limited

On Monday 24 February 2020 at the meeting room of Department of Mineral Resources Asia Cement Public Company Limited and Siam Cement Group (Tha Luang) Company Limited jointly signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation to Limestone Mining Sustainable Development. Director-General of Department of Mineral Resources, Director-General of Department of Primary Industries and Mines, Secretary-General of Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning and President of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association together signed as witnesses.

Such Memorandum of Understanding concerned in encouraging the members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) to perform in line with the intention of Mineral Act B.E. 2560 that focuses on encouraging the proper and maximum use in mineral management subject to the economic, social, environmental and public health equilibrium as well as the Declaration of Intention of TCMA on Being Good Governance and Eco-friendly Mines that encourages Thai cement manufacturers to conduct good governance complying with the principles of morality and ethics and commit on environmentally friendly industrial development together with community care in order that industries and communities can sustainably grow together.
