Asia Cement Joins TCMA in Celebrating Third Consecutive Outstanding Trade Association Award
The Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) has been honored with the “Outstanding Trade Association” award for the third consecutive year by the Ministry of Commerce, reaffirming its leadership in driving the industry toward Net Zero by 2050. Executives from Asia Cement, a TCMA member, attended the ceremony to show support and commitment to sustainable carbon reduction initiatives. 

Dr Chana Poomee, TCMA President, emphasized that reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a global priority with positive impacts on the environment, economy, and society. TCMA continues to lead the transition through hydraulic cement, clean energy, and low-carbon technologies. The association is also advancing Saraburi as a model low-carbon city under the “SARABURI SANDBOX LOW CARBON CITY” initiative, supported by public private partnerships, civil society, and global organizations. These efforts aim to foster technological collaboration and green financing to achieve the Net Zero 2050 goal.
