Green Mining Award 2025

On November 20, 2025, Asia Cement Public Company Limited (Pukrang Plant) and Jalaprathan Cement Public Company Limited (Takli Plant) were honored with the prestigious Green Mining Award for maintaining the “Green Mining” standard. The award ceremony, organized by the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), took place at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, with Deputy Minister of Industry, Mr. Yossingh Liamlert, presiding over the event.
This year’s ceremony was held under the theme “Great MIND to Green MINE,” reinforcing the commitment of all stakeholders to drive Thailand’s mining industry toward balanced and sustainable growth in harmony with local communities.
The Green Mining Award aims to elevate Thailand’s mining sector by promoting responsible operations that respect society, communities, and the environment, while ensuring efficient and sustainable use of mineral resources. To qualify, establishments must meet six key criteria:
•    Responsibility toward the environment and society
•    Prevention, mitigation, and remediation of environmental impacts
•    Safety and health care for workers and communities
•    Green space development and orderly landscape management
•    Transparency and accountability
•    Efficient utilization of mineral resources
Receiving this award reflects the companies’ unwavering commitment to setting a benchmark for sustainable mining practices and contributing to Thailand’s economic growth in a way that is balanced and environmentally friendly.
